Puccini’s music is so widespread that we have all come across it at least once in our lives.

His compositions are performed all around the world – “La Bohème” has now been staged more than 16,000 times in Italy and abroad.
Thanks to his publisher, Ricordi, the Puccini’s works earned widespread international recognition during his career.

The composer oversaw many of these international performances personally to guarantee their quality.
His pieces are also regularly used in film soundtracks. For example, in the film Moonstruck, we hear “Che gelida manina!”, “O soave fanciulla” and “Quando m’en vò” from “La Bohème”, while Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation, The Sum of All Fears and The Sea Inside all use “Nessun dorma” from “Turandot”.

In Fatal Attraction, “Un bel dì vedremo” from “Madama Butterfly” is played.
